    WOW. That was very moving. A politician that stands by what he thinks is right and wears his heart on his sleeve. Very cool.

    Wow... one of my best friends ever lives in San Diego. So I've been there.

    That's really a moving video--the guy is just so choked up. I hope he gets the kudos he deserves; San Diego is not always as progressive as the rest of California is considered to be because it's such a huge military town.

    Wow, heartfelt and meaningful. Very good to see and hopefully it will be a help to others in such a position of government.

    WOW! *I was brought to tears by this speech. Mayor Sanders deserves a big hand for doing what is right and not motivated by politics or money. I am going to email a big thank you.

    What a moving video. I'm happy to see a politician using his heart... his daughter must be proud of him.
