Default Las Vegas vs. New Orleans

This one isn't for a place to live. This is for a vacation in the near future. I've been to NOLA once before. Never been to Vegas. Sooo...?

I’ve never been to either but I’d say New Orleans; I real city is much better than a theme park.

I've only been to Las Vegas, and personally I LOVE it. It's amazing to see at night. The first time I was there, I was blown away. Since you've been to New Orleans before, why not go to Las Vegas??

I've been to Vegas about 10 years ago.

I had fun and enjoyed al of the shows. The Hoover Dam was a sight to see.

Not sure I would go a second time, but I would say it is something you should do once.

I've never been to New Orleans, but my question is do you have a desire to explore the city further?

Vegas is a dirty city...scum bags and pimps handing out "business cards" to see topless women (sorry to all the lesbians and straight men out there, but ick). the casinos are depressing-full of people pissing away their hard earned money, fighting, swearing..don't go to Vegas.

New Orleans-possibly could be fun. I was there when I was little so don't remember much.

I'd reccomend San Diego. Seriously.

I've heard great things about Vegas. But I would love to explore New Orleans more, but I'm still undecided

I go to a Vegas at least like, twice a year, and I want to PARTY SO BAD IN VEGAS BUT AM NOT 21 SO AGHHHH. You're 21, go to Vegas and party like you've never partied before. Unless you want a more cultural trip, then New Orleans would probably be better.

I've never been to New Orleans before so I can't say one way or another about that one. But since I live in Vegas I can pretty much tell you anything you want to know. Since you're 21 you might find some stuff to do there but the machines are horribly tight and don't pay well in my opinion. There are plenty of clubs yeah, and each one is different depending. But all along the Strip there are people flapping these little cards around trying to pass them out advertising topless girls and stuff. The streets are littered with the cards. The shows can be entertaining, depending on which one you pick. Overall I would say it's up to you, but Vegas definitely isn't all it's hyped up to be. People who don't live here build it up to be something great, but once you're here you can run out of things to do pretty quickly, unless you have enough money. Hope this helps some!

Well gambling isn't my thing. I mean I would do some, when in Rome, right? And then there is always "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas" I also know that Las Vegas is promoted as a gay destination, and I think New Orleans is too. I mainly wanna go to Vegas just to say I've been, see the sights, etc. But New Orleans is such a beautiful city and I was only there for about 6 hours when I was there, so I just got a small taste, and I want more. So I'm still undecided. New orleans is about 6 hours closer by car. But idk...

Las Vegas.

I haven't been to either, but a lot of the tourist attractions in New Orleans are still closed. There is a ton of a construction, and will be for a few years, also large portions of the city are basically abandoned and left in ruins.

The downtown and around there (and some other parts) are still good places to go, but they're really isn't as much to do as in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas has theme parks, gambling, rides on top of 100 story buildings, and the best part...legalized prostitution!

The last one was a joke, true, but a joke. Las Vegas.

I don't like what Las Vegas as a vacation destination is all about. Of course, given my... vampire obsession... my decision automatically goes to New Orleans.

And no, I've never been to either city.
