I've heard many reasons in my time.

Disease, Morality ect. But the two main ones I hear are

"I don't mind lesbians, because they're not going to try and kiss me' Coming from a guy, or the one i just heard today

It was actually coming from my best friend, who thankfully believed me. We'll call the offender 'c'. a male friend of hers who came into the conversation we'll call 's'

"C thinks you have a crush on me"
    I rolled my eyes.
    "Do you like S?"
    "NO"
"Then why should I like every girl I'm friends with?"
"I know... you don't have a crush on me do you?"
    "No"

And we were cool after that. it wasn't her that irritated me. I think she just had some genuine concern that i liked her, but no more than she would have had if i had been a boy she didn't like. its C i'm pissed off at.

So, has anyone else actually listened while people explain exactly why they hate you, wether they knew you were gay or not, and how did you deal with it?
