This is a really great thing. I'm sure most of you guys have seen it, but if you haven't, you need to check this out. It's a channel where probably over 100 people added (and are still adding) videos giving encouragement that if you are getting shit for being gay in high school, things will get better. Check it out, I think it's worth a look.

Well it's not called "It gets good", it's called "It gets better". Of course people are going to go through shit after high school, but what I think they're trying to say is "things aren't going to be as bad once you get out of high school".

I decided to make a video for "It Gets Better".

I've written the rough draft of what I'll say.
I've gotten approval to film in three locations (a fourth is pending).
I've arranged for my friend to do the filming around his schedule.
I've talked to my friends and acquaintances about appearing in it.
I'm working on dealing with the arrangements on the ending.

...when I do something like this, I don't fuck around. Anyone who sat through my staff interview knows that.

Maybe I'll make one myself. I've been pretty uplifted and inspired by all the videos I've seen on there.

I think it's a good idea for a community participation project, it's just unfortunate that it took such sad circumstances for it to come about.

I'd love to make one. I don't have a story, but I can quote statistics. I can also say that having a supportive group of people around me has kept me from experiencing the worst!
