Maybe a silly topic but I do find it interesting. I have a short index finger, ring finger is about 3 mm longer. this indicates homosexuality in women, but can also indicate autism, dyslexia, or a generally masculinized brain. I do know some straight women with the ratio as well, but they do seem to be more logical. For men a longer index finger than ring finger can indicate homosexuality, most men have a shorter index finger, most women have an equal ratio.
My index fingers are way shorter than my ring fingers. From what I've read, the longer index fingers only really occurs in men who have alot of older brothers (which I don't, so..)
Same here. My ring fingers are blowing my index fingers out of the water. I guess I'm straight. *pause* NAH!!!!
Mine seem pretty much equal. I mean it is maybe possible my index finger is longer but probably like by half a millimetre...
My index fingers are longer than my ring fingers by a couple of millimeters. So I guess I fit the bill (even though I'm in a minority in this thread ) I don't have older brothers or ssters, so I don't know what that says about Heyitsme's hypothesis...
They're like almost the same. I'd say my index finger is a wee bit longer, but it really depends on how you look at it.
haha I love this. A good portion of my straight male friends have longer index fingers, while me the only and most gay of the group has a larger ring finger. I freaked out a few of my friends that were girls by revealing this to them. Really while it CAN be accurate, I feel as though the probability of it being incorrect is far too high to take it ever seriously. Me and my friends always just use it as a joke.
It works in women too. They have longer index if they are straight, and longer ring if kinky. It certainly works on me and everyone i know. trust me, I've tried. Also, another one i've found that works is the 'look at your fingernails' one. a gay man will look at his fingernails with the palm facing down, and the other way for gay women. It works for most people, at least.
