I'm on the fence about this one. It's stupid, but it is children(even fake). Plus he's a middle school teacher, so that's a little iffy.

the judge should use some discretion here. Absurd if he's jailed if the only objectionable stuff he had was simpsons porn.

as long as he hasnt done anything to real children, he shoudnt even be bothered. some people like different things in this case child cartoon porn. an aslong as those people harm no one i dont see the sense the imprisioning him. they should punish the creators of that por if they have to punish someone.

The fact that it's children makes it pretty messed up...doesn't help that he was a middle school teacher either.

Regardless of anyone's views on this, I'm sure he's going to get the highest sentence possible. It's more than likely gonna play out like that.

This has been a sticking point for several years. Do artists renderings of children in sexual situations count as child pornography? Do stories involving children in sexual situations count as child pornography? So far, the courts have ruled "no". But we'll see what happens here.

Thought crimes aren't real crimes. You can't punish someone for something they might do. That's absurd! That is the same logic people use when they want to ban violent videogames. Hell. You might as well ban any porn that involves women consensually agreeing to depict rape scenes. Fantasies often just remain fantasies. Like I never want to be raped for real by a gigantic tentacle monster, but doesn't stop me from jilling to it every now and again.

This is utter nonsense. No children were hurt. This enforcing your own morals on someone else and that is wrong on another level entirely(even if I agree with the morals).

BDSM porn does not encourage rape. Simpsons porn, by ANY stretch of the imagination of the most imaginative person ever to have lived, does not encourage child sex.
