| <3 KAIT <3 Regular Member   Gender: Female Orientation: Bisexual Out Status: Out to everyone Location: goshen Age: 19 Posts: 16 Join Date: Sep 2010 |  mean teens today we were getting ready for class and i looked around for my friend cody he wasnt there so i sat down when the kid that sits next to me tap me on the back and said "is Dr. fagot here" before i said anything two other kids started to call cody that and said "yep thats him alright " i went to say something but the teacher came in so i shut my mouth. 30 mins later cody came to class and he took his place next to me when we were busy working i had to tell him so i did and he wasnt happy. after class we told our teacher and she said she would take care of it so im hopeing that she will |

Something like that should get reported to people higher up so if it didn't then there is an issue. When you talk to the teacher i'd just say "hey my parent's wanted to know what was going to happen and just wanted to get in contact with the principle or something to make sure nothing like this was going to happen again." or something along those lines. 60% of teachers don't report these issues so it is important to make sure it is handled properly especially if your friend is openly gay or may be perceived as such.
