I've had something similar happen, though. A medicine I got to clear up an allergic reaction...caused the same allergic reaction. But worse.

yup it can happen when i found out that I was allergic to zocor they gave me zerytec to take care of it and I slept for two whole days and flipped the staff out cause at the tie i was living in a shelter

Reminds me of when my doctor put me temporarily on Advair to get my asthma back under control after the flu and I decided to actually read the fine print. "Warning: may increase risk of asthma related death." ... o_O
