Personally, I've always found it a little silly, and it seems sort of contrived to me, but I know some people that absolutely love it.

I also remember there was some famous gay porn star in the 1980s who was widely known for his exceptionally good dirty talk (whatever that means, and in any case, I'm not sure that's what I'd want to be known world-wide for, but that's another story!) The interesting part was, this guy was apparently straight, but just knew how to play the role really well.

So to each his own... I can see how it would be a total turn-on to some people and more power to them, but I personally feel a little silly either saying it or having someone say stuff like that to me.

I don't like it, myself, because it usually sounds so fake. For far too many people, dirty talk seems to fall into two categories.

1. Commands for me to do precisely what I'm already doing. "Fuck me"? Um, I HAVE been. For the last five minutes. Are you telling me you can't tell? Way to make me feel inferior.

2. Rhetorical questions that sound like an attempt to bolster sagging self-esteem. "You love it when I do that to you, don't you?" "You want some of this, don't you?" Sure, if it makes you feel better.

The first time I got intimate with my partner, I did something to him that cause his whole body to shudder while he barely breathed the words "Oh God..." THAT was hotter than absolutely everything my previous partner had ever said put together.
