Following the discussion here http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3849&posted=1#post3849 I am curious what resolutions we all use on our PCs or whatever. If the exact one you use isn't in the poll above, please choose the closest one.
hehe - shows how "ungeeky" I am - I actually had to go into my settings to find out that I am on 1024x768. I didn't even realise that - I had thought 800x600 was still pretty much the standard.
My actual screen resolution is 1600x1200, but i keep my browser using up only half the screen horizontaly and usualy full vertically, making for a 800x1200 browser. Edit: I guess i might as well also note that I use a 19 inch screen, so having such a high resolution is natural on it.
Hey - welcome! The first of many posts I hope! I should mention my new Dell PC at work. It has a widescreen 21" TFT which is something like 2000 by 1200. I think it's great - especially for the electronic design work I do (PCB design and LabView programming) where you can never have enouogh screen space. It's also good for Microsoft Project, where the screen is never wide enough. For normal stuff like web, word processing etc it's wide enough to have two programs open side by side.
