Women = dresses. Men = jacket and tie. I don't do dresses, and I'm stumped as to what to wear. I think I need to find something in between. But I'm not sure what that is. Part of me actually wants to wear a jacket and tie. But a) I would be totally nervous, and b) I'm a 4'11" female, where am I going to find a guys suit/jacket/tie that fits? I'm thinking maybe trying XL in boys (kids) sizes. But not sure if that will work. Might be a long shot, but, any suggestions as to what an 'in between' formal outfit might be, or even where to find a jacket/tie outfit for a (small) woman? ![]() |

I have usually ended up wearing a dress in the past to the actual formal balls and functions I have been to, but any other times such as when I have been a guest at a wedding or something I have gone for a trouser suit, so I think that would be best. |
