Something annoying that you habitually do?

Because I have nothing better to do So what's something you do by force of habit that you KNOW is annoying, but can't seem to stop doing?

For me it's correcting people's grammar and spelling, verbally and on the computer. I can only imagine how annoying it is, but I can't seem to stop!

saying phrases repeatedly , like llamma emu taco bell and stuff like that .

Going into pointless, unnecessary rants such as this.

I constantly arrange products in the bathroom so that they look neat, labels facing forward, pumps facing to the left, both toilet seats down, etc

At work, I have to arrange things just "so" as well.

i crack all my joints. I know it annoys people, but half the time im not even aware im doing it so i can't stop myself!

While I don't correct people while on the computer (I'd never get out of my house if I corrected every example of bad spelling and grammar I find while on the internet) and I don't often correct people's spelling (because my own would be atrocious without spellcheck), this applies to me, too. Hell, people have flat out told me that it annoys them, but sometimes their crime against syntax are so heinous that I just can't help myself.

Cracking your joints helps prevent arthritis, you know; they're selfish if they tell you to stop.

Lose my keys, sometimes several times a day. Sometimes I think if I could just put my keys in the same spot from day to day, my life would be complete. But for some reason I just can't seem to ingrain the habit of a "landing strip" for all my stuff.

As far as habits that annoy others, my indecisiveness is probably the most obnoxious:

Flaps: I don't know, what'cha onwanna do?
Buzzie: Look Flaps, first I say "what were going to do?" then you say "I don't know, what'cha wanna do?" then I say "what we're going to do" then you say what'cha wanna do" Let's do something.
Flaps: Ok. What'cha wanna do?
Buzzie: Now don't start that again!

I have a lot of those things. I correct people all the time, I can't stop fidgeting, I tap with my feet on the floor without noticing, I'm always humming my favourite songs and even more

I pull at my hair. All the time. I pull at it, twirl it, play with it, run my fingers through it. It's been a horrible habit of mine for like 5 years and I just can't get rid of it. I'm almost always touching my hair. It bothers a lot of people. :/

I also crack my joints a lot, particularly my fingers, wrists and ankles. That one's pretty common, though.

Um...something else...I'm ridiculously non-assertive. Like, I'll go out of my way to avoid an argument or making other people unhappy. I can never make decisions. My friend will invite me to go out to eat and ask where I want to go and I'll be that person who says, "Oh, I don't know. It doesn't matter, wherever YOU want." My best friend gets really annoyed whenever I do that. >.>

There's a lot more, but I can't remember them all.
