Wasnt sure where to put this so i stuck it here lol:

Before i found this site everytime i seen a guy or a girl who dressed and looked and acted like a girl or a guy I just thought that....they were gay lol. I never new anything about transgender unless they got a sex change. On top of that i didnt know that a transgender person could be bi...or even str8 (kinda since if they are a boy who feels like a girl but likes girls i guess that would be gay lol)

I've also have found out recently that girls that cross dress and happen to look like the type of guys i like are extreamly hot but its like the best of both worlds. I just always figured that they were gay and it sucks for me.

Anyway idk where I was going with this. Just thought i had to write something about it after seeing this girl at work today. I thought she was a guy at first and was instantly attracted and after finding out she was a girl kinda confussed. But after finding out that maverick is bi......the flood doors of my imagination flew open lol

Technically, a transgendered person who is biologically female and mentally/emotionally male is heterosexual in their attraction to women. And apparently the majority of transgendered/transsexual people are straight - that is, most drag queens are attracted to men, and most transmen are attracted to women.

I'm kind of stuck in a gray area, being bisexual. From my personal experience, I was actually "gay for guys" a long time before I ever felt any attraction to women. I tend to think it was a combination of natural inclinations plus social conditioning - I was taught as a female to be attracted to men, and was encouraged to be attracted to them by the approval of my peers. I probably succumbed to that a great deal, being in complete denial about my gender identity and trying desperately to hide it by appearing as normal as possible. But it wasn't that hard, because part of me was attracted to men, just not the way my female counterparts were.

I watched gay porn as a preteen before ever actually knowing any gay people, and completely independent of any influence other than the Internet. I remember being intensely aroused by it, because as a guy, it was a sexual attraction I could actually relate to. I watched straight porn too, but in that case I am aroused by the woman and not the man, if that makes any sense.

At that age, I was really ashamed of having those kinds of feelings because I was having all kinds of religious issues about being queer (along with catching some crap at school for being butch) so I just kept it a secret and hid any evidence that I watched it.

As I got older and entered high school, I had several crushes on men and women at school, but the women I crushed on tended to be butch, or at least were tomboyish/androgynous to a degree.

So I don't know...I do know the majority of transgendered people are straight though (something like 75%). But I would imagine bisexuality would be more prevalent, since the attraction you are conditioned into as a transgendered person is in competition with your biological orientation, and there are just less homosexuals in general.

I was thinking about this today and thought that it kinda makes since. I've always been attacted to tom boyish looking girls and girls in basketball shoes and cargo shorts have always turned me on lol. Once even when i was 13 I was home alone on the internet (we all know where this leads at that age) and seen a girl wearing an addidas t-shirt and swore she was the hottest girl I've ever seen lol. So I guess this isnt a really big jump from that.
