You are not alone....you are in good company. Due to the drop in housing prices throughout the country ( DC property value has been especially hit hard) The White House is officially now valued at a mere $251 million down from it's high of $300 million +. This was calculated on the current DC market value of acreage and sq. footage. What a bargain. I'm going to look under my sofa for spare change and start saving up... And buy that lottery ticket that I'm sure is going to win this time...

I Just thought it was funny. Obviously The White House, and all the artifacts and treasures in it, are priceless. But this was put out a while ago by the National Association of Realtors and it gave a little bit of a chuckle...just to show that everyone is suffering from the housing funk.
