    OK.
I was recently told that at the time that i was baptized, I had a severe case of Bronchitis in which I almost died. Odd thing is, the day after I was baptized (sprinkled with holy water and all) I suddenly got better and was released from the hospital.

sometimes, I think it's just a coincidence that that happened.

    BUT...

Now that I think about it, what if it really was divine intervention?
cause if it was, it means that God loves me, despite being gay.
and that would reassure me that I really am loved by God.

of course, it probably was a coincidence.......or was it?

( It's something that bugs me to this day!!)

I really doubt that was a coincidence. Dont dwell on it im sure that God loves us all no matter who we are or who we love.

Rest assured, He loves you. Through many years and many experiences in some of the weirdest of places I have seen so much that can't be explained other than divine intervention. In all cases it involved love and love was the end purpose.

I also believe there is a 'higher power' that intervenes in our lives. Otherwise there is simply no explaining how events that occurred could have happened as they have.

I'm not really a religious person, and I'm afraid I'll never fully beleive something until I see it, but someone was definitely looking out for you.

Well, it sounds like you want it to be God. So what if it was a coincidence? God could have made that coincidence happen. God loves you, no matter what, and even if this is a coincidence, it could still be his sign to you that he loves you. Love is all around us, if we take the time to see it, and the more we look, the more we see.

I have had numerous unexplained things happen in my life. I happen to believe very much in "signs". So there you go!

I'm with Jim on this one. I believe there is a 'higher power' which guides us throughout our lives. I don't especially believe in coincidences, I believe in destiny.

You were born gay, your destiny is to be gay and embrace your gayness and live your life to the full. If God (I call him destiny) didn't want you to be like this he wouldn't have made you like this.

He will love you, whatever you do, decide to embrace your homosexuality or not. I don't think God bases his love for you on your sexuality but rather on how you choose to live your life, giving as much as possible back to society and your neighbour or screwing everyone over at every possible opportunity. I think these are much more important issues.
