    I just love the feeling of being intoxicated, seriously... It takes me away from real life and makes me forget most of my problems...

    I love drinking too....but you shouldn't use drinking as an escape...it only makes things worse.

    ....it's usually a bad idea to be on forums when you're drunk....
    <----- has a lot of blank posts on various forums and is glad to have an edit button.

    But seriously, in the long run drinking to forget your problems will make things worse.

    I never have and never will get drunk. My brain must run at full capacity when at all possible. Besides, I don't want to turn into my "father" (only by genetics...).

    cocktails are delish~ so are tequilas :grin:
    i also had chance to drink sangria few weeks ago. oh my gosh it was so good, although i did get drunk pretty quickly.:icon_wink
    i hate beers though; they just taste bitter yuck
    anyways drinking with other ppl is more fun than drinking alone; i actually never drink when im alone. it just feels off to me...
    but anyways i agree that drinking shouldnt be used to escape your real day problems. there are many other constructive ways to solve your problems. so while drinking moderately when you want to escape daily life is okay, excessive drinking imo is not very healthy approach.

    When I was in the Bahamas, a lady was selling rum cocktails on the street, and she was yelling for everyone to come get wasted. This was in broad daylight, so I decided what the hell, and got drunk on the street.

    It was the best kind of drunk ever.

    I'm not saying being drunk isn't fun (because it kind of is :grin:)
    But you really shouldn't use it as a form of escape.

    It depends on how much an escape it is

    I know that I've used drinking as an escape for an unhealthy feeling that is negative because my reaction to drinking is just falling asleep. When I wake up, I forget the negativity and wake up bright and refreshed.

    And I know that I can never be addicted to drinking because I inherently dislike the taste of ethanol.

    I don't always drink beer, but when I do I only drink one or two. Otherwise I feel sick.

    I've never been drunk, either. Lost a couple friends over it. I figure I didn't need them. :slight_smile:
