I don't know if you could call it an imaginary friend but I used to talk to my "alter ego" when I was younger. Like Gollum in Lord of the Rings but not so..... slimy. Like two parts of myself having a chat. Yes weird I know but as a young kid I didn't have that many friends. But I didn't need it after I moved schools, found a load of new friends and came out. I've always had an inkling that it might have been my gay side. EDIT: Reading back over that makes me sound like a psycho.
