Hola friends. I'm in the midst of training for some 5k's that are occurring this spring, and I'm also doing outdoor track, but this time around I need a little more training to do better than last season. One of the most important thing about training to me is the music I listen to while running. In the mean time, I also have to train my whole body (all the muscles from deltoids to biceps to pectorals, quadriceps, everything) at the gym, and I want some songs for that playlist. What I want from you guys is your best workout song, fast-paced heavy-ish songs, that aren't Paramore as I've already crammed my playlist with Paramore. So if you could give me a few of your favorite training songs, that'd be awesome. To give you a feeling of the music I'm into, here's my playlist so far: Spoiler =D
Before I get into the recommendations that might fit your tastes, I want to mention one Pantera song. This song is probably a lot heavier than what you are looking for, but I'm mentioning it anyways because it has one special quality for me: whenever I listen to it, I can't help but move faster than I already am. If I'm walking and I put on this song, I'll find myself walking faster. If I'm already walking quickly and I throw this song on, I'll break into a sprint for no real reason. It just has that effect on me. (And if you don't like it upon first listening, give it time; it took a couple of listens for this song to grow on me.) Do with them what you will. xD

I went into my "workout" folder, sorted by plays, and crossed out anything that came out before 2000. You'll have to decide if they're uptempo enough for you. "Control" - MuteMath "Call Me What You Like" - PuffyAmiYumi "Everything Is Alright" - Motion City Soundtrack "Miss Cherry Lipgloss" - Single File "Sun Red Sky Blue" - Kenna "Don't Stop" - Inner Party System "The Reeling" - Passion Pit "Party With Children" - Ratatat "To Lose My Life" - White Lies "Don't Move" - Dot Dot Dot "Man, It's So Loud in Here" - They Might Be Giants "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" - Single File "Bohemian Like You" - Dandy Warhols "Restless Youth" - Air Dubai "Tell 'Em" - Sleigh Bells "Somebody Rock Me" - Clash vs Killers "www.nevergetoveryou" - Prozzak A lot more from before 2000. Well, basically just giving out songs for a training playlist is not the way to go around with. Every one has a different taste. when i work out or go running i like listening to songs that i feel are powerful. Not all the songs i like are like that. I wont listen to elton john or lily allen when i go running. Ido listen to Globus-Epicon. and of course this song
