I'm in the midst of training for some 5k's that are occurring this spring, and I'm also doing outdoor track, but this time around I need a little more training to do better than last season. One of the most important thing about training to me is the music I listen to while running. In the mean time, I also have to train my whole body (all the muscles from deltoids to biceps to pectorals, quadriceps, everything) at the gym, and I want some songs for that playlist. What I want from you guys is your best workout song, fast-paced heavy-ish songs, that aren't Paramore as I've already crammed my playlist with Paramore. So if you could give me a few of your favorite training songs, that'd be awesome. To give you a feeling of the music I'm into, here's my playlist so far: Spoiler =D |

This song is probably a lot heavier than what you are looking for, but I'm mentioning it anyways because it has one special quality for me: whenever I listen to it, I can't help but move faster than I already am. If I'm walking and I put on this song, I'll find myself walking faster. If I'm already walking quickly and I throw this song on, I'll break into a sprint for no real reason. It just has that effect on me. (And if you don't like it upon first listening, give it time; it took a couple of listens for this song to grow on me.)
On the off chance that you do like that one, I can recommend you some more metal songs that make good workout songs, but if not, here are some other workout songs that I think might work for you.

Not all of these are particularly heavy, but they are high-energy, so yeah. Do with them what you will. xD | |||||||||||||||||||||

Every one has a different taste. when i work out or go running i like listening to songs that i feel are powerful. Not all the songs i like are like that. I wont listen to elton john or lily allen when i go running. Ido listen to Globus-Epicon. and of course this song
