    I am. I have this stupid and unrealistic romantic notion that I want it to be with someone that I love and am in a relationship with, which has up to this point never happened, hence why I'm still a virgin.

    You have absolutely no reason to be ashamed. Virginity hardly means much, if nothing at all. (especially if you have no stock in it.)
