This is ridiculous, and funny but depressing at once. I would have posted it in LGBT News, Rights Issues and Equality, but it's quite old. I searched the forums for Leviticus and Tattoo, but no matches, so I'm posting now:

It’s a tattoo reading “[Thou] shall not lie with a male as one does with a woman. It is an abomination. Leviticus 18:22″. Who else sees the problem here?

Leviticus also forbids tattooing. In the very next chapter.

“Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:28″

in the hebrew version of the bible it does not even say abomination.. you guys just got it all wrong :P

there are a lot of translations, aren't there? I've heard "abomination", "detestable", and even "god hates that", which is in the version of the bible i was given by my scripture teacher as a 14 year old christian.

i thought the bible was open for interpretation? so the bible could mean whatever i want it to mean, it means you should all go out and buy ice cream, because it is good

I think Peeves from harry potter should rewrite the bible, and instead of "abomination" he would replace it with "naughty naughty you'll get caughty"
