I was just watching a bit of the intermission on the local Sports Network. One of the panel demonstrated a blocking move by getting in front of another guy and moving back against him.
The moderator said as they signing off"I don't know which was scariest the hit by Bradshaw? or Bill almost sitting in Phil's lap".
And there it is another Gay joke  on TSN national TV
For those of you in warmer climes ice hockey is a game where 5 big guys 6'5'', 240 lbs on skates try to put a little flat rubber "puck" into the net of the other team.

I don't think he was being condescending, Im sure there are people who don't know what certain sports are, for instance a lot of people wouldn't know what AFL is (outside of Australia)

Anyway, I don't think it was too offensive...probably just a commentator trying to make conversation the best way he knows how...appealing to people stupidity and prejudice etc....but oh well, theres not much we can do about it...then again, maybe I just dont get as phased by stuff like this as much as I should be...hmmm

teabagging is when a dude puts his sack on someone's forehead. usually, the victim is passed out at a friend's house or party.

Yeah, ditto, love the panthers, go all the time! Anyway, that is upsetting that it was said on TSN (we get it on cable in the states). Sometimes people will make homophobic comments like that, and it is just so horrible. I mean like they get away with it ALL the time, but if anyone made a racist remark, it wouldn't go unnoticed.
