As always a group of friends and I got talking again. We were talking about how different social groups are strictly unique to their identity and to my surprise I agreed and did recognize that The GLBT community is unique to most social groups when it comes to porn. Sites like 'Advocate' have a good sample of stories focusing on gay porn actors, gay porn movies and porn culture as well though the focus is only on MALE GAY ACTORS. When it comes to most other subjects like HIV and Contraception there were too many other social groups who shared these same ideas that we couldn't call it unique. Any other ideas?

Oh being homosexual was a given but closet cases weren't.

I don't know if we are all that unique. I think each community is unique by virtue of its members being unique. If you put any 50 people together in a room, the dynamic will be different from any other 50 people you might put together. Yeah, we discuss "gay stuff" - be that porn actors, or sex tips, or homophobia - but that's not exclusive to our group. A jigsaw puzzle group will have discussions about where to find good puzzles, and techniques for solving puzzles, and whatever else. That's just them sharing their common ground, same as we do here.

I think EC is far less Frivolis and superficial. I don't understand the advocate sometimes for putting emphasis on the meaningless sex appeal aspect, or giving free reign to a hypocritical porn star like michael lucas, as if being a shameless, self promoting pornagrapher makes you a expert on goverment, business, and reality when the point of your job is to create warped and twisted, overacted fantasies.
