Part of my beloved Tuscaloosa, site of the greatest University the US has ever had the privilege to have..the Crimson Tide Nation got destroyed this afternoon by tornados. Over 40 dead...I was stuck in an airport in Atlanta and I feel guilty.
(&&&) I'm sorry to hear that, I can only offer my condolences. Don't feel guilty, what happens is going to happen. You can't change it, so go forth and honor them by the actions you do in your life
My thoughts are with you. A close friend of mine lost her dad to a tornado last year. So I know how you feel. If you need to talk feel free to PM me.
oh my god, my friend is there for orientation I hope he is alright. And i am so sorry. If you want to talk just send me message. I know everybody here is very worried.
Don't feel guilty about this. You could not foresee how devastating this has quickly become. I don't think anyone could. But if you need to talk, we'll always lend an ear. Best wishes!
Thats terrible :< I'm sorry to hear that happened! Don't be guilty though it's not your fault or anyone elses, just keep your head up. We had tornados here too so I know your pain.
Tornados suck. Growing up in the Dallas area we dealt with them quite often. Nothing this bad, though. When I was in college a tornado came through my area and hit the other end of our street. It was bad, there was 1 trailer that I spotted the next street over. I damn near got caught in that one. I had a test that night and on the way out a classmate wanted to talk about it. So I was delayed 5 minutes. If I had left on time I would have drove right into it. I did feel guilty about that also. While my family was riding out the storm I was in my truck driving along like nothing was wrong. I've had so many close calls over the years, I can empathize. I'm glad your are ok
Being alive is rather something to be very happy about, but the forty who died...there are no words. It's a time of grief, now. Grieve for them but don't grieve that you are living. Grieve and live for them.
