Does anyone have any statistics, articles, etc on gay men who are afraid of AIDS, or how the fear of AIDS affects gays as a whole? Do you know any gay man personally who has an unusually severe fear of contracting AIDS? Does anyone know how to deal with someone with such a fear?

What's interesting is that while male homosexuals have a high statistic (61%), heterosexual females are even higher (66%). Why aren't heterosexual females banned from donating blood and organs?

Because heterosexual females weren't seen as the common carriers of AIDS almost 40 years ago when this law was made........ It's time to get with the times and take an incredibly outdated law off the books.

61%?! I think it's more like 20%...

I agree with you that the law should be changed, but you might want to check your sources. Those statistics sound off to me :/
