Ok this is how it is, i meet this guy he’s bi, really nice and i want to ask him out for dinner. I got a problem i have no idea where to go out for dinner. I was thinking a Friday or Saturday night in the city area, where not vegetarian or anything like that and i don’t care how much it costs. If anyone knows of anything please let me know.
Manchester Lane? Hard Rock Cafe on Bourke St? I hardly go out and eat at a nice place in the city. Honestly, I usually just stop by Hungry Jacks for a while with friends before a comedy gig or after a day of walking around with little to do Micah or Defender might be able to give you a better list of places lol Oh well, I've enjoyed eating at the above places!
Chapel street (south yarra and prahran) are really nice places. If you're looking to REALLY impress him, you could try FOG on Grevel St (spelling?) in Prahran. It's right by Prahran Station. This place picks up at around 7:30-8:00. It's definitely a suit-pants and shirt affair (tho' open shirt is acceptable). Around $40-50 for a main. VERY la-de-da. If you're looking for something a little different, you could try the veggie bar on Brunswick street (It's vegetarian food but -really- nice / cheap). It's around $10 for a meal and it's quite a funky little place. If you're looking for something in a more relaxed atmosphere, you could try the Lucky Coq on the corner of Chapel and High Street. It's more of a lounge / bar, but has the most amazing gourmet pizzas for under $10. It's a great place to sit down on a couch, enjoy the music/pizza and have a drink or two (note you need ID to get in). Only suggestion is try to get there before 7, since it seems to fill up quickly. The above places are very gay-friendly, so you wouldn't feel the need to hide the fact you're on a date, tho if you wanted to, you could check out ICE (nearish to the corner of Chapel and Commercial Road in Prahran). It's run by two gay guys and practically everyone in there is gay - it's where I planned to take TriBi when he was down in Melbourne hahaha prices range from $10-$20 a head.
How right could you have been. Thanks alot micah, talk about a restaurant connoisseur. Now i just have to do the hard part and ask him out.
Try Molvida in Hosier lane Melb very nice spanish food and the waiters well i wish they were on the menu for desert greg
We should so start an Adelaide thread....(although, really, what would we put in it?...the Malls Balls recently got cleaned, I guess thats interesting hehe)
Na man dw, it was funny and gross at the same time plus i already got a big enough list of places to eat
