I find it a lot easier to lurk here than actually post anything.

I mean, if you consider how much I've read, I've been very active, but I haven't posted in weeks.

Well I think thats one of the beauties of EC, you can come on as often or as little as suits you, there is always someone here, and you can use it for whatever you need, to post and ask advice or just to read and find support through previous posts and answers.

I agree; it's a very good resource. I just wish I had more to say.

It's fine to lurk or semi-lurk, and there are probably a majority of posters who read 10x or 100x as much as they post, so you're hardly in the minority.

One thing I will say, though, is that when you do post, not only do you share your thoughts (and encourage the thoughts of others), but you also help to create more content for other people like yourself who prefer to read comments. EC has about 10 times the number of non-member readers as actual members/posters, and many are people who are shy or closeted or afraid to join... so it's when new people post, and existing members continue to post, it helps to encourage others to join, and it also helps to get more info out there to help those in need

Sometimes you just don't have anything to say?
