Ok, so I'm just wondering how popular this social networking site really is. I have a facebook (and yes, I know it's against the rules to post links to it, which isn't what I'm asking for)

So, how many ECer's have a facebook?

I had one and I deleted it.

I can understand the deal, but I don't have many friends. So it feels kind of redundant.

Maybe when I go to university.

I've got one and use it often. It's too useful not to have one.

I use it to keep in touch with friends of mine who don't live near me anymore (like my high school pal who got married and moved to the other end of Canada! D8). I never had too many friends in high school, but made plenty in college, and since we live in odd areas, it's nice to have this way to keep up.

Yes, I have a Facebook. When I am on a computer with internet access, there is always a tag with Facebook open. Facebook is on my phone. I get text messages from people I've subscribed to, etc. etc. etc.

It may seem like I'm addicted, but I use it mostly because almost all of my friends live quite far from me, and I only get to see them a few times a year.

I also use Facebook for networking in the Classical music field. The arts are not supported that much where I live, so a lot of my Facebook friends are professional musicians as well.

I don't know how I'd live without facebook. My music society ensembles use it to contact us for official stuff so I'd be dead without it. That, and I've got friends all over the place meaning I need it to stay in contact with them.

I hate how much I use Facebook XD I keep on trying to deactivate it permanently but, people always seem to need me on there so I have to reactivate it.
