Default MTV Segment - Asperger's Syndrome

Hello everyone. As you recall I posted yesterday the link to my MTV segment, however the mods had to take it down as it was in conflict with the CoC since I said my own name in it. However, while I'm not allowed to post a direct link here on EC, if any full member wants to watch, send me a PM and I'll send you the link. I have a link for Canadians and a link for anyone else who wants to watch whether you're American, Australian, or Narnian.

What a nice segment they did on it. This is something that will definitely help to raise people's awareness. If you haven't messaged him to see it (and are a full member), you definitely should!

My twin cousins have Asperger's Syndrome and I think it's really cool that people are actually starting to be aware and understanding of it.

One of my good friends older brother has Aspergers and I have seen him struggle with some aspect of it or another pretty much his whole life. It's refreshing to know that MTV does segments like this.

Is it new? I had a hard time finding anything from MTV about Asperger's that wasn't more than 2 years old...

Oh my gosh..that was such a nice segment, really it was. I've never really thought about Asperger's Syndrome but you should be so freaking amazingly proud about what you're doing, seriously. ^_^

It is brand new yes, on the canadian site. Best thing to do is message me and then I'll give you the link. (I think I can only give people the link if they ask for it through PM)

Unfortunately I can't ask for it until I become a Full Member, but I'll try to remember...

I think I have it quite mildly. I've never been diagnosed, but once a therapist sugested it a few years ago, I researched it and it seems pretty likely.

The psychology teacher (who is also my head of year) at my 6th form wants me to get tested because my teachers have all reported 'correlating behaviour patterns' to her.

I'm not sure why, but I don't want to. I would like to watch this, but unfortunately I'm not a full member...

50 posts, at least some of which are substantive, at least 2 weeks membership, and a short application sent to the staff.

So Concrete, I believe you're possibly able to go for it...maybe. But yeah, thanks to everyone who's watched it so far, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Wow that's really cool that they finally have more awareness about this. My little cousin has it and my other cousin has a higher form of autism

Okay, I've applied for full membership, also considering getting the Asperger's test, though I'm at a loss about what knowing this for sure would accomplish...
