Default Pride

Pride is approaching and I was wondering what everyone has planned? What goes on for Pride where you are and what plans do you have to celebrate? I live in Northern Canada and plan on going to Vancouver for Pride. It is a huge week long celebration. I will attend the final weekend and take in the street dance and the Pride parade for sure.

From what I gather on Pride parade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, it seems like it's called pride in general across the globe, with Sydney's event specifically called Mardi Gras.

And as for my own plans, I'm hopefully going to San Francisco Pride again this year.

PrideFest Chicago would probably be really cool, but I'll probably just hit up the one in Milwaukee, which is always really fun. Dancing and shopping and music and free hugs stickers abound!

Awww, I want to go to Pride soooo bad but I don't know anyone else who's out and I don't have my license yet, so my mom would have to take me...needless to say, this would be slightly awkward.

Any straight friends who would want to go? I'm going with some of my friends and most of them aren't LGBT, just allies who are looking for something to do together on a nice summer weekend! It's fun stuff.

I'm going to Pride in Spokane, WA on June 10th and then Seattle's on June 26th. I'm really looking forward to Seattle's. It'll be my first time.
