So, I accidentally came out to one of my friends today, a little bit later when he came to terms with it he asked me "Then, why do you talk to guys?" all I said was "Because" before we parted ways and he got sucked into a different conversation. what does that phrase mean though? "talk to"

I was taken back by it on my first thought. Why not talk to boys? they are human and just because I a, sexually attracted to girls doesnt mean I can not communicate with girls.

Then I thought, could it mean to flirt with guys? In my Opinion, I dont flirt. I dont know how to.

I suspect he thinks that guys are such horrible people that the only reason a non-guy would want to talk to one would be to tap him.

So far as I know, "talk do" doesn't have any common enough colloquial meanings that you could assume he didn't mean it literally. I think Liam has the best guess.

Where I live, people refer to the stage before two people date, but have decided they want to date as, "Talking."

Some people mistake being friendly with flirting. I have a friend who is extremely friendly and will talk to just about anyone. Well, one day she struck a conversation with a guy and this girl he was 'talking to' came up to her and said, "You need to stay away from him because he's mine." My friend was utterly surprised and just walked away.

People believe that other people are constantly trying to get in people's pants. Which, as we all know, isn't the case.
