At the moment, I've only got two friends at school, both of whom are gay, one of whom has a boyfriend. But I'm the only girl in the group, so it's kind of weird... I really wish there was another girl there 'cause sometimes it just seems like they wouldn't care or wouldn't get it. And the possibility of getting a girlfriend might not be too bad, either. ;P Sooo... I was wondering how you guys meet other LGBTQ people in your area. Any takers? :] P.S. My school's GSA isn't the best, so...
I searched the internet for a gay and lesbian youth group near me, and found one! I've been going the past couple of weeks and it is great to meet other LGBTQ youth. I suggest you google "gay lesbian youth group [your area]" or find your city council website, they should have a list of groups and other events somewhere on the web.
well i searched the internet... and DIDN'T find one! I live in a sorta rural area of NSW and my school is kinda homophobic so... yer... sorry that really didn't help ;P I really wish i could meet other people like me. Good luck!
I personally HATE meeting people off the net. so what i did was go to some lgbt youth group meetings and met all kinds of people there! Once i made a couple of good friends i was able to go out to gay clubs/bars and meet even more people. Good luck!
This is weird. I'm not really finding any support groups near me with google. I live in a suburb of Los Angeles, though, so I dunno... Maybe I'm just not checking the right stuff...? And clubs/bars are out, 'cause I'm only 15. =P And that sucks, polyamorous! Maybe a new one will start or you'll find one somehow. :] P.S. Thanks for responding, guys. Much appreciated. : D
