Why do straight guys like boobs?

Haha, this is a question that's been bothering me for a while now. I really don't find anything remotely interesting about them, but it seems like every straight guy I know is obsessed with them.

Anyone know? :P

That'd be because you're into guys xD As a general rule, straight guys are attracted to the female body. Boobs are decidedly female; thus, a point of attractiveness to those who like girls, but not much appeal to those who (only) like guys. I really think it's as simple as that.

LMAO I have wondered the same thing. Like they're fine, whatever, but nothing to write home about. There are plenty of girls I find extremely beautiful, maybe to the point of real attraction, but it's never because of their boobs. XD

exactly. boobs do nothing for me, but I can comprehend why they do something for straight guys. but snizzes are scary.

I've actually had this conversation with some of my straight dude friends and we couldn't come up with anything except a consensus that boobs are wonderful.

Actually, there are some scientific explanations. It mostly comes down to breeding and survival of the fittest. While humans have certainly moved away from choosing 'mates' based on their genetic benefits, there is still a bit of it lingering around.
Breasts are how baby mammals are fed, and the larger the breasts, the better. A cow with a tiny udder obviously can't produce/hold as much milk as a cow with an udder the size of a watermelon. Though breast size has a lot to do with hormones and can change a lot, as a general rule, bigger breasts are genetically better. Just as wider hips are better for labour, and stronger, more muscular men can protect their children more effectively. I'm not a biologist though, so don't quote me on this.

I don't think this at all speaks for everyone though; some like smaller breasts, some like unnaturally large breasts, and some don't like them on a woman at all. So I guess it's also chalked up to preference.

You might well be right, but this still made me laugh a lot because the explanation is so clinical

I've never actually had the word cynical used to describe me. But it's true, I'm a bit of a cynic.
But yes, science isn't everything. If attraction was purely selective mating based on genetic benefits, homosexuality wouldn't really exist.
