    Good for you :eusa_danc :eusa_danc

After the initial nerves of the first day you will soon settle in. Don't worry it is quite normal to feel nervous at first.

hey Jayden, congratulations on the Job. It's a long time since my first job. But I have started many new jobs in my life time. It's all ways scary starting a new job. You met new people and learn heaps of stuff about the workplace. Also, you may stuff-up with something or someone, but hey, the others know that you're the new boy. Just say sorry and learn from mistakes if you do make any. Don't worry, keep cool and listen the the other guys. Good on ya! Paul

When you start to feel a little nervous about it all, just remember you'll be getting your first paycheck soon! That makes it all better! :icon_bigg Good luck Jayden! Congratulations! (!)

Congratulations, that is really great :eusa_danc . Don't worry about that first day. There will certainly be someone to teach you what you need to know. This is your first step to becoming a jockey. I'm sure you'll get the chance to train some horses pretty soon.

    Good luck! :eusa_clap

I'm really pleased you've got a job doing something you'll enjoy. My sister works at a cat rescue center and loves it. I'm sure randwick will be the same for you.

There's nothing wrong with working in retail. My partner has worked at Woolworths for about 12 years and he still enjoys it.... most of the time.

Yeah first day at the new job is always hard. I remember my first job as a referee for a local soccer club. I was really nervous, but once I got started I didn't mind it too much, plus the pay was good! I'll be starting another new job in the summer and I'm already nervous about that one, its a lot of responsibility, especially for a 22yr old (I'll be 22 by then).

Good luck on your new job and congratulations. I'm sure it will all be fine.

Don't worry about being nervous. It's normal when you start anything new, whether it's a job, college, school or whatever.

Listen and try to remember and understand what you are being told, be polite and show respect for the bosses, and do the best you can with the work. If in doubt, ask. I'm sure you'll be fine once you settle in.
