Hello everyone. I'll be attending school in State College

and was wondering if anyone had any opinions as to the political/social values in Pennsylvania. I know colleges are almost always very open but what about the rest of the state?

Philadelphia is really open. There are a bunch of universities and young people here, and some of the best bars/clubs are LGBT.

I think the more rural parts of the state can be quite conservative, though.

Eastern Pennsylvania is liberal, central and western Pennsylvnia is conservative.
