I woke up this morning with out power. And I had nothing to do so I want to know what you do during a power outage. |

If it's during the day, go outside and do something fun. Have a picknick or go on a walk. If it's at night, light candles and read (usually scary stories). It's kinda fun navigating around at night with little to no light.

Well, I went out a bought a portabe DVD player just for times like that! So usually, I'll watch a cheesy movie from the 80s or a concert DVD & by that time, the battery has gone, so then I just read or grab my iPhone or video mp3 player & watch something else. I have Glee on both just in case of emergencies!!! Makes it easier to gleek out!

I lose power all the time... so, when I do, I usually listen to music (if my iPod is charged), practice my trombone or baritone, hang out outside, drive around in my car, call people (if my cell phone is charged), read, or do homework.

I read, if I have a good book, or I'll just go to sleep (if it's at night, of course), and during the day, idk, usually just go outside and talk to my neighbors. However, that usually doesn't happen, mainly because we rarely lose power. I think the last time we lost power was 5 years ago. I think...

If it's at night I usually just read or lay dowm and try to go to sleep. Although if I lived in the city I would go out at night, but I can't do that where I live because it would be pitch black out.
