Not everyone is aroused by porn. Some people are more visual than others. Also, some porn is better than others. It depends on the individual and has little to do with your orientation (for instance, many lesbians like gay male porn).

 

You mention that the guy is cute and there's a random old dude. Maybe it's possibly that porn. I mean, there's lots of porn without old guys in it. Maybe you're just not into old guys. There's vast quantities of porn out there, so you'd probably find something that arouses you.

Well, in my experience there is less gay porn than straight porn. That means that there is even less good gay porn than there would be straight porn.

I wouldn't get turned on by some old fart getting busy with a young guy either. You might be less into hardcore porn (which a lot of gay porn is based off of) and more into the romantic stuff like I am.

Also I know there is a slight taboo on it but give animated a try. You can do so much more with a picture than you can with real people. I'd link some sites but I understand that giving links to porn sites is frowned upon so I'll leave you to the searching.

 

As others have said, it depends what you're getting off to.

I know that in my case (this is really where I'd like the Anonymous feature :icon_redf) I'd much prefer porn with twinks/not-masculine but not-feminine men having gay buttsex than bears giving oral. Try different types of porn involving different types of people. But from the porn your describing, I'd probably have gone and found a new video within a minute of watching it.

Well, while porn can be an indication, real life still trumps porn. If you can't get off to gay porn, but still have no problem getting aroused when thinking of that nice guy in your class, then you're probably still into guys. so the question really is: if you're getting off on your own fantasies, what kind of fantasies are those, and which genders do they involve?

Also, it could be that it's the wrong porn. The one you describe wouldn't arouse me either. Personally, I prefer people about my own age looking as if they're actually having sex because they want to instead of just thinking of their paycheck. Also, once the sex moves beyond the fairly vanilla, I lose interest almost immediately. In other words: I like porn that fits my own fantasies. You could try finding something closer to what you imagine would be the guy-guy sex of your choice.

If that doesn't arouse you, don't lose sleep over it either. Go with your own fantasy instead of prepackaged fantasies from others

Not at all. I actually have a friend who is gay and actually only enjoys straight porn and I have another friend who only likes erotica stories and porn bores him. So yeah, not liking gay porn can totally be normal. And it doesn't exactly mean that you are'nt straight.

I'm gay and I don't even watch porn or masturbate. I don't know why, it just seems like a gross thing to do and I'm not attracted to it.

 

Along with finding porn or romantic Youtube vids that fit your fantasy, think about what aspects of people you find attractive (certain body parts, body types, fetishes). After coming out I finally watched some hardcore gay porn and some of it did gross me out, especially the close up shots of buttholes and rim jobs. You just need to search around and see what exists out there and what works for you. Personally, some of the Youtube videos get me off more than hardcore porn does. A lot of it depends on what mood I'm in too, if I'm longing more for a romantic situation vs. only sex. Sometimes the videos I see help improve/expand upon the fantasy so I don't get bored with the same old images in my head.

 

Instead of porn, i watch romantic youtube videos sometimes, stuff like that. It makes me feel less guilty and dirty.
