Default When did we start getting old.

So for the past month I have been going to physical therapy because I injured my back. I have a friend with a back problem also. Another friend recently had surgery for foot problems.

Now I just saw on facebook that a friend from High School is going to have a cardiac stress test because of some problems.

This just ain't right. We can't be getting older. We're all supposed to be a bunch of invincible 20 year olds.

I hardly think 30 is old.

Anyways, I hope you start feeling better soon.

That is my point. We are only 30. We shouldn't be having these problems. We should still be invincible damn it.

I'm 22 and I'm having pain here n there, its coz of technology!!

Staying on the computer in random positions for hours isn't really good for your health

My parents, being the paranoid weirdos that they are, would blame it on the chemicals added in foods and such. Oh, and the terrorists. There are about a billion and one reasons they would be wrong, as you can imagine.

Hope your back gets better!

I'm 22 going on 23 and I still feel like I'm 18 yet my hair decideds to start leaving as I get myself back into great shape...on the other hand I have one of my Best Friend who people consider us twins who, once he started dating a chef (now engaged), turned into a 40 year old (now 22). Toe surgery after toe surgery for problems with ingrown toenails, lots of hemorriods...the ones you need surgery for, high cholesterol, bad health from stress and weight and no social life other than work....And he still has amazing hair.

I'm jealous ... lol

Aging sucks.

i read somewhere that 19 -26 is suppose to be the prime age of fertility and health or at its peak, then it begins to slow and degrade, i think 30 is a normal age, not old at all, untill u hit 31 LOL

No, 30 definitely isn't old. Wait till you're 50 -- you'll be wishing you were 30 again. Everyone wants to stay young. I know I wish I could go back maybe just 4 years or so and stay that age. And as far as health problems go, everyone has different problems, some more than others. I'm only 23 yet my back hurts me quite often -- bet it's because of being in weird positions on my laptop... I guess we have technology to thank! Lol

I've realized in the past year or so that I can't pull "all-nighters" like I could during my undergrad (although here I am writing this at almost 3am!). It really wrecks my body now, giving me bad headaches and sometimes getting sick. The back aches I have now though are more due to a lack of exercise. I've noticed that jumping down even short distances (e.g. off benches or chairs) really jars my knees too. Remember when you used to jump off of monkey bars or other playground equipment without any pain and keep on truckin'? I think that's why some older folks resent kids so much.

I think it depends on how healthy you were living in your younger years I've seen plenty of people past 30 who are still active and healthy, I've even seen senior people jogging on the street and staying in shape! It just really depends on the person
