If you have been married/are going to be married/dream about getting married/domestic partnershipped to a partner of the same sex, what 1. Both wearing tuxes 2. Both wearing dresses 3. One wearing a tux, the other wearing a dress Not that there's any right answer, I'm just curious. Me, I'm a female, but I dream about getting married in a tux, with my partner in a wedding dress. |

But there should be something special about them not just looking like "any other tux". Maybe it's the cut, or the fabric, or the style...something! |

(:

See, we'd get marriage in the court house or town hall (wherever they perform them when a church isn't involved) so we can save our money for an awesome party to throw afterward. And what to wear to that party? I abhor formal parties, so our attire would probably be similar.

I will probably change my mind though! as I have 10, 20, something, years before I need to worry about getting married if I do at all, and I might marry a man in which case I would be happy to wear a dress. Meh, I'm only 14!

| Formerly Concretehands Full Member Gender: Male Orientation: Gay Out Status: two Location: London Town Age: 17 Posts: 1,297 Join Date: Aug 2010 | If I ever do get married, I think I'd just wear a black suit/tux. He can wear what he wants, I think it's a little creepy/presumptuous to be picking out clothes for somebody I haven't met yet. I doubt I will end up married though. The idea of so many of my family members in one place with all their waspish passive aggression focused onto me and my decisions is making me feel a little ill and I'm probably 10/20 years away from getting married if I do it at all. Even without that, I don't think I could stand having so much attention, I'm not used to getting any really.

| Official #1 fan of Celine Dion Full Member ![]() Gender: Female Orientation: Pansexual/Homoromantic bisexual Out Status: Generally whoever asks Location: I travel a lot Age: 20 Posts: 5,707 Join Date: Jan 2008 | To differentiate from most of the androgynous lesbians who want to wear tuxes, I'd definitely wear a dress, probably on the glamour-ish side of things because I like dressing up for occasions. And I would love to have my make-up done by a make-up artist and have my hair done as well. I'm not sure what kind of dress I would go for, if I would go for the traditional white or something a bit different, but definitely something quite fitted that shows off my figure but isn't slutty. I'm definitely not one for tuxes, and would probably feel very uncomfortable in one.
