Its easy to tell when if a girl is gay when you have the stereotypical "butch".
But what about the others?
Any signals or giveaways?
Sometimes I think I can tell, but I want to learn more

Well idk if you're good at sensing vibes (like when you can feel someone staring at you,kinda) but that's basically it. You have to feel the mutual vibe coming from her. This has happened to me twice that I can recall.
I feel a good vibe like someones into me and a look in the direction I sense it from and there's my lesbian staring at me (:
Works every time!

Fyi; Side note; yada yada; niether of the girls I'm referring to are butch. Well one is like soft butch now..but not at the time this happend! Lol!
