well, it is better to skip them than mark them wrong, you can always take them again

    yea

if i could figure out whether or not i want to be a pastry chef, i could figure out if i need to retake them. if i choose pastry, then i'll leave them. but, anything else, and i'll retake them.

anyone else a pastry chef by any chance?

I would suggest you retake it and try again. Second score is usually better anyway.

Yeah, I would do that. Though it's not much fun to take it all again:icon_sad:

even if you do plan on becoming a pastry chef then i would suggest retaking it, from the sounds of it you would do amazingly well and this way you can keep your options open and not have to spend that much extra time revising as you've already done it, ull just have 2 look over it again =]

i hate the SATs they create so much anxiety. I have done relatively well but I feel like even so it tells you very little about a student. I would definitely retake them once, I went up 100 points the second time I took them

    wow! good job kovax14!

yea, i'll probably take them again. the first time was so draining tho. and then i went straight from SAT's to a 4 hour choir practice on songs i'd never sung b4. if i don't have practice next time, the whole thing will probably be easier.

I hate SATs. I did pretty well on them, but still they're such a bad indicator of intelligence. Most of what it tests is how prepared one is for taking the SAT, which is pointless.

I took them last May and did fairly well, but not as good as I thought I could do. Then I retook them in October and got 40 points lower on two sections.

Colleges only look at your higher scores though, so don't worry if you do worse the second time. My advice for you is that if you do decide to retake them, prepare yourself.
