I applied early decision to Wesleyan University, and I find out if I got in by the end of next week. Naturally, THE ANTICIPATION IS KILLING ME!

I want to go to Wesleyan for so many reasons.
-Great music department. They founded the ethnomusicology masters program, so they have wonderful resources for world music and jazz, which is what I want to study.
    -Great theater program.
    -Interesting courses.
    -Awesome students.
-Wonderful GLBT community (which they refer to as the "endless acronym," because of all the damn additional letters that can be attached to GLBT...) You can check out the gay community stuff at http://www.wesleyan.edu/queer/ It's really cool stuff.
-It's just a great place to be. I went there and stayed overnight and attended a class in the morning and I felt so welcome!

    Gah I'm rambling.

Moreover, I cannot wait until the end of next week. I've never felt so anxious or excited in all my life. I feel confident that I got in, but it's college, so ya never know... Ahhhhhh!!!!

i know how you feel! I'm awaiting georgetown's reply on the fifteenth as well. its actually not even in my top 5 but its the only school that offered Early action on my list, and I would be more than happy to attend there. One of my good lesbian friends at school applied ED to wesleyan too, im sure you guys would get to know each other if you both ended up there. wesleyan is such an awesome school for LGBT, i love that acronym they use hahah

Good luck on getting in (anyone who's currently trying)! I myself got in a couple years ago, and am glad that I'm done with all that.

You're college is actually encouraging of LGBT students? I'm jealous... *sigh*
