to me, being gay means that if i'm in a room, walking in the mall, am in the classroom, at the gym, or whereever else, i'm going to find myself getting attracted to other guys instinctively. if a guy really catches my attention, i'll start to have feelings to the point where i'll start to have feelings for him and etc. eventually, it'll become a crush and you get the point. i don't do the same thing with women. it's pretty much forced. another thing, i also learned is that i tend to find guys more attractive than women.

I love women. How they smile, laugh, and the soulful connection between two women. It just clicks for me on all levels somehow. It didn't with men.

Sure it might mean I'm ostracized or treated differently, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Women are beautiful. I don't have to worry about pregnancy. I don't have to have the immediate expectation that I will be having kids (I assume most hetero people do). I can be myself, and look at myself in the mirror knowing I am being authentic to who I am.

Well, it just means that I am emotionally and physically attracted to women, that some people will hate me because they believe that same-sex attractions are unnatural or perverted, and that I won't be able to get married unless I move to a state (or country) that has legalized gay marriage. It's more significant to me as a human being than my brown eyes or black hair, but not as significant as what kind of a person I am.
