Being so 'academically traditional' and 'rigorous' it's stuck in the 1890's. Unseen texts. Closed book exams. Competing against Asian geniuses. Marking being more of an 'artistic interpretation' in essay-subjects. Trying to get a score 5 grades higher than any in the entire last cohort got. A history of just one student getting into their firm uni at my school. IBFML. Do I win? Btw, I actually really like the IB! If everyone did it, then I wouldn't moan so much as it can distinguish between good and excellent students. Now let's see where I fall... Still a ballache though.  | |

I was a little worried about my grades in some of my classes but I'm still on track to make the Dean's List again so that's a really big relief. I have a meeting for an internship spot next Tuesday but I'm not too worried about it, and I've been connecting with old friends a lot recently. So overall, pretty good. ^_^
