Woah! So I was going to come out to my mom in the next week and a half, but now I don't know because I JUST found out that my sister and her husband are finally going to have a baby!(!) [ Flipping out, here] I'm so excited! My sister hasn't called me yet, I talked to my dad and he thought I knew. I think she's waiting to tell me in person. But, now I'm so mixed up because I don't want my family thinking I"m trying to "spoil" the announcement by making a somber one.:eusa_doh: I don't know! Mixed emotions, I'm so happy and feel thwarted all at once!
Awww, congratulations to your sister though! I must admit I'm currently in a similar situation, whenever I think of coming out, something important to the family pops up So I understand where you're coming from, just from a male perspective.
Congratulations! I'm going to be an uncle in a few weeks, it's so exciting! Don't feel that this news has to stop you from coming out, either. In fact, it might be good to take advantage of the good mood going around your family right now. If you just keep the announcement relatively casual and low key, then I'm sure nobody will think that you're trying to spoil anything.
Congrats!! I also agree with what ben said, if you do a low key coming out, then I don't think that your overshadowing anything.
I became a Grandma on October 10th! I finally got to meet my little man over the weekend. They are so fun and you fall instantly in love with them! Congrats!
Congrats on all you guys being aunts, uncles and grandmas. And yes, you might take advantage of all the happiness and good moods around the news of there being a new addition to your family. Don't let someone's news stop you from doing what you had planned. If you think it's the right time to come out, feel free to do so.
 Yes. Becky: ohh, awesome! Congrats to you too! ^_^' Cat, Ben, Gerry : Thank you all. I felt like this was mostly the right time because it's been building up inside me. I'm leaving to go to another state (to visit my dad), and it felt safer to be like : Here =D! *send letter, leave* ...[fear].. Mimero: I wish you the best of luck with coming out to your family. <3
I agree with you Ben. And Ben I LOVE your Audrey Hepburn profile pic. She is such an amazing actress and humanitarian. RIP Audrey <3
