| Member Regular Member   Gender: Female Orientation: Lesbian Out Status: The QSU group, my dad, and three friends Age: 22 Posts: 43 Join Date: Oct 2011 |  Oh my god! I'm going to be an aunt! =)! Woah!  So I was going to come out to my mom in the next week and a half, but now I don't know because I JUST found out that my sister and her husband are finally going to have a baby!  [ Flipping out, here]I'm so excited! My sister hasn't called me yet, I talked to my dad and he thought I knew. I think she's waiting to tell me in person. But, now I'm so mixed up because I don't want my family thinking I"m trying to "spoil" the announcement by making a somber one.  I don't know! Mixed emotions, I'm so happy and feel thwarted all at once! |

In fact, it might be good to take advantage of the good mood going around your family right now. If you just keep the announcement relatively casual and low key, then I'm sure nobody will think that you're trying to spoil anything. |
