ahhh lol and probably have to agree with you there, i tink rap has to much well swear words but also some rappers, rap about sex drugs and ridiculous things like that.
I like everything. Especially classical. But I literally can like ANYTHING. I may not know a lot of music but I have a huge range of I like My favorite though is that rock and roll, head banging stuff
Rock n' Roll is more like sticking your tongue out and shaking it wildly, while making that ,|..| with your hands and sticking it into the air. Headbanging is used during heavy metal, in my opinion, which I can totally do. xD I like what I like, the genres and artists play no deciding role in my likes and dislikes.
I've been accused of being hipster in certain music tastes because much of it trends toward the indie rock end of the spectrum, but I like almost anything. I don't really like most rap and mainstream country, but even then, there are some artists that I like, like The Roots for rap or certain Texas country artists (I hate Nashville country though). I have on my iPod everything from avant garde jazz to Christian punk (that last one is actually not as bad as it sounds lol).
Country music is amazing. Great to relax to in the evenings. Also it makes for awesome driving music, day or night.
I like pop, R&B, dance, and pop rock I suppose. I usually end up liking the artist, not so much as the entire genre.
I typically listen to classical music. More specifically, late baroque (about 1700-1760, depending on the composer) and early classical (around 1730-1770, again, depending on the composer). I also love Asian pop (more specifically, Japanese rock, rap and R&B, and Korean pop), but I don't listen to it as much as classical. I also listen to the radio (the generic pop/top 40 stations), but only when driving. I usually don't like what I hear on the radio (it just helps me keep calm while driving), but I've heard some stuff recently that I like (Rihanna's finally releasing stuff I like, some Maroon 5, etc etc etc).
Artists I like: Club 8, The Flaming Lips, of Montreal, Belle & Sebastian, The Shins, Yoko Kanno, Nobuo Uematsu, Trash80, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Strokes, The Postal Service, the pillows, Passion Pit, The New Pornographers, Metric, The Magic Numbers, Hot Hot Heat, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Helio Sequence, Stars, The Radio Dept., Death Cab for Cutie, Deastro, Datarock, Broken Social Scene, Asobi Seksu, The Apples in Stereo, Anamanaguchi, Shout Out Louds, Ratatat, Freezepop, and Acid House Kings I don't go out of my way to listen to jazz or classical, but I do enjoy those genres.
Pretty much anything from Enya to Linkin Park, there isn't any specific genre I'm crazy about. But hard-metal is definitely a no no.
