wow... i was reading random crap on wikipedia and this is something weird i found, and i quote: "Gay men have, on an average, slightly longer and thicker penises than non-gay men." and this: "Gay and non-gay people emit different armpit odors" this is the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality#Gay_and_lesbian_youth i feel so lucky if you find something else interesting, you should post it here
Wikipedia isn't always stating facts =/ a gay guy could have easily edited it to say " gay men's penis' always grow to 12inches" or something. It can be very biased.
Hell, I could edit it to say nothing but "STEAM GIANT IS YOUR GOD!" Granted, it won't stick around long, but sometimes it takes articles a long while before the false information gets fixed. As far as these facts, likely the only people to read them so far have either been gay men ^^ or those simply too apathetic to challenge them.
I'd heard about the larger penis thing, but that seems just to be a random correlation. Really, I'd rather the average for us was lower - that way, relative to the others, I'd be bigger. *shrug* The armpit odour might have something to do with pheromones, but it's really just a shot in the dark there. The penis thing... well, I've heard about thin people being bigger in that department, and perhaps we're just more image conscious, on average? Again, just guessing. Weird facts are awesome.
lol shush it's positive information... i'm happy with that. As for the Armpit odors.. yeah we smell better because we give a shit. GAY POWER!!! lol
lol AGREE! i luv gay stereotypes =].....the other day at gym my friend asked me if i knew how to knit...i was like no do you? lol
I have to say that from running around the gym locker room of a mostly straight athletic club in town I don't believe it. I think it varies, a natural variation of the human body, not based at all on sexual orientation. One of the things I hate most about Wikipedia, anyone can add anything.
Yes people can change wikipedia's page like this one but you can't change them all. Administrators can protect pages to restrict editing. Full protection disables editing for everyone except administrators. Fully protected images cannot be overwritten by new uploads. Semi-protection disables editing from anonymous users and registered accounts less than four days old. Move protection protects the page solely from moves. Fully protected pages are move-protected as well, by default. Cascading protection fully protects any page transcluded onto the protected page. That was tak'n right off of the site. As for the penis fact, I don't believe it.
