So the Houston Press, an alternative newsweekly in Texas, recently dug through the records of arrests in Harris County and came up with a list of the most, uh, unusual names.

My personal favs were Anal Exceus, Shi'tia Alford, and Heavenly Flores, but there are many awesome names there.

Oh my... I giggled for a few good seconds reading some of these, especially Chastity Spotts as it's highly ironic as it sounds like an STD!

My personal favourites are Chastity Spotts & Joey Perfecto! I really think that maybe Eugene Levy DID play a character on SCTV with that name. Or maybe Im thinking of Lou Jaffe...

Something tells me that their names led to childhood bullying, which led to criminal records. These names should be crimes in and of themselves!

The article even said with some of the names, like Shi'tia Alford, that Child Protective Services should have been called when the birth certificate was filed, as it should have been obvious there was a problem

In New Zealand, two parents lost custody of their 9-year-old daughter for naming her "Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii". She went into court guardianship so that her name could be changed. Worryingly, names like "Fish And Chips" were specifically banned by registration officials, which suggests that some parents had actualy done that.
