What ever happened to Freedom of Speech, and Freedom of the Press? one of my state's politicians, Ron Wyden, has really been vocal against this. I think it is ironic that the republicans pushing this with a psychosexual passion are the ones who always claim they, and they alone protect and uphold the constitutions and freedom in this country. Don't piss on me and tell me it is rain.
This really would effectively destroy social networking sites, fan sites, small internet businesses, or just any site that doesn't have a commercial agenda--like Empty Closets. Sure, this would be a great deal for the big corporations out there. That's probably why it's gotten as far as it has, but it would be a shitty deal for the rest of us.
