Ok so what is the difference between Haha and Hehe. Kinda silly questions I know, but just trying to have a little fun. So is Hehe more gay? Just sounds a little lighter, more sensitive. Haha sounds a little more manly. I know, not manly guy around here. So what do you think?
I think haha is used as a less sarcastic or schadenfreude-ish form of hehe. I personally refuse to use either, or lol. I judge everyone who uses lol.
The uses of either Haha or Hehe vary. 'Hehe' can be used as a sinister chuckle (Hehe ) as well as an "innocent" giggle (Hehe :icon_redf ). 'Haha' can be used as a forced laugh (Haha  ) as well as sarcastically (Ha Ha  ). It could be severity dependant, too. Where 'Hehe' is used for something slightly funny, and 'Haha' is used for something overly funny. I guess it depends on the person using them, and also the circumstances in which they are used. :eusa_eh:
Yeah it really depends from person to person. To me 'hehe' sounds like someones trying to be cute.. 'Haha' sounds more genuine
For me, 'hehe' is more of chuckle, while 'haha' is a laugh. But in the same sense that 'lol' is a laugh, meaning a necessary and convenient means of expressing humour in textual media. Sarcasm can be used in either, and really depends on the context and person.
I think a lot of people consider them to be similar but to me haha is more of a really strong laugh that's from something really funny whereas hehe is just a small giggle or chuckle.
this. I only really alternate between lol and haha to add variety so I'm not putting lol at the end of every message. That's also why I have this face =P For some reason I think of hehe as cuter and would take as a stronger sign of flirting than haha, but I believe that's just grossly over thinking. I think most of the time they are interchangeable and the only reason we seem all of the is because variety is the spice of life.
I use "haha." "Hehe" is like when your little cousin pokes you in the side and runs away giggling. "Heheh" is a different deal though. It's pronounced with the short e sound, and it sounds more like a short chuckle that you precede or end a sentence with. I'm putting way too much thought into this...
