You were wondering where in the bible it says it's bad to be gay?

    I actually stumbled across this. Basically, what I see it said was that the city of Sodom, which was about as evil as Palestine, also had alot of anal penetration and other forms of homosexuality.

    So that's where it seems to come from: Alot of homosexuality in a very corrupted place.

    If you cared to read you would know that sodomy was not the sin of Sodom and how is Palestine evil?

    I'm also confused by the Palestine reference. Plus while the term sodomy does come from Sodom, the bible makes it pretty clear in the bible that the real sin of the sodomites was more inhospitality and rape.

    This is correct. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that homosexuality was Sodom's sin. It's simply a biased inference that was made centuries ago that is so a part of the Christian ethos that people don't realize it's actually baseless.
